Cupar Development Trust’s flow of projects and achievements since its creation in 2015 has been prescribed by three important reports, shown on this page.
The first report was by the Built Environment Forum Scotland following a visit to the town in July 2014.
This led to the creation of CDT the following year, and the first major project of CDT was a Charrette (a local planning consultation) in 2016, whose outcome is the second report.
The third report is the Cupar Interpretive Plan of 2017, whose implementation drives much of the current work of CDT and its partners, including Cupar Heritage & Museum and Three Estates Cupar SCIO (SC048967).
Many of the events organised during Cupar's Celebration Weekends 2021 and 2022, included activities inspired by the Interpretive Plan.
